Bio:

Jakub Dragun is a distinguished scientist with a robust background in medical microbiology and biotechnology. He has held key positions in quality control and analytical development, including Senior Director at Autolus Therapeutics and Head of Department, CMC Research and Development at Covance. At Autolus, he developed high-quality control analytical procedures, contributed to regulatory submissions, and played a pivotal role in the FDA approval of the CAR T cell therapy, Aucatzyl.  At Covance, he ensured the delivery of high-quality services and managed a team of Principal Scientists. Currently, Mr. Dragun serves as a Quality Control Consultant for Autolus, where he continues to contribute his expertise. With over a decade of experience, Mr. Dragun’s expertise in analytical methods development, process qualification, and technology transfer makes him a valuable asset to the cell therapy analytic development community. He earned his MRes in Medical Microbiology from the Universitat de Barcelona and his MSc/BSc in Biotechnology from the University of Gdansk.
